Now look at the remaining shelves. Select at least one or two shelves in each book case to leave blank of books. Yep. Don't put books on these shelves. Instead you're going to place some items that your truly enjoy. Framed picture of the family... a statuette... model car or ship... small plant... small lamp... you know what you like. Take a moment and shop around your house for some items that will work on these shelves. Place two items on each shelf. One on each side. The items that are a set on each shelf should be about the same size and visual weight.
You will find many people who own food stores, restaurants, workshops, clinics and garages using this type of shelving. One of the main reasons why this shelving is popular is durability. It can last longer than shelves made of wood because it resists mold, water and breakage. It is also better than other types of shelves in preventing the spread of fire because its frame allows water sprinklers to work without obstruction.
You can develop your own modular shelving. The basic system is perfect if your motivation is to customize your modular shelves. The beauty with this system is you can assemble your own design lay-out configuration. When you feel that it is time to re-configure the shelves, you just disassemble it and create a new one.
Garage Wall - This type allows an individual to store many items in small space while still allowing for room to work. These units have hooks for hanging tools and parts that can be adjusted along the unit. These units are even strong enough to hang bikes and other sporting equipment.
Cabinets - Wooden cabinets can be open-faced, have glass doors, or have wooden doors. Open-faced cabinets are often designed as cubbies where you can store towels or larger containers. Glass door cabinets are usually mounted on the wall, but they can also stand on the floor or over the toilet. The wide range of styles makes these the most versatile for small to medium-sized bathrooms.
